Wishlists
Wishlists keep track of the paper cards you want to buy. They are separate from your collection binders, so a wishlist is not tied to one marketplace: its value is shown for TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Mana Pool, and Card Kingdom at the same time.
Open your wishlists from the Collect menu in the top navigation, then choose Wishlists. Public wishlists also appear on the Wishlists tab of your profile. Old links to wishlist binders open the new wishlist page.
- Sign in and open the Wishlists page.
- Click Create wishlist.
- Enter a name. Each of your wishlists needs a unique name.
- Choose the visibility.
- 🌐 Public: Everyone can see the wishlist, and it is listed on your profile.
- 🔍 Hidden: Not listed on your profile, but anyone with the direct link can open it.
- 🔒 Private: Only you can see it.
Public and hidden wishlists have two privacy options: Show wishlist value publicly and Show desired prices publicly. When they are off, other people still see the cards, but not the value or your desired prices.
Wishlists track paper cards only. Cards without a paper printing cannot be added. You can add cards in several ways:
- Add card: On the wishlist page, click Add card, search for a card, and fill in the card details.
- From a card: Use Add to Wishlist in the card dialog.
- From a deck: Use Add missing to wishlist in the deck actions. Only cards that are not in your collection are added.
- Many cards at once: Select cards on set, search, or artist pages and add them to a wishlist.
- Import: Click Import wishlist on the Wishlists page to import into a new or an existing wishlist. Prices from the import become desired prices. See Importing collection for the supported sources.
Each card on a wishlist has a printing, language, finish, amount, condition, an optional desired price, and optional notes. Wishlist cards have no extra info such as signed, altered, or graded. Use the notes if a detail matters to you. When wishlists moved out of binders, any extra info your cards had was added to their notes.
Desired price
- The desired price is the most you want to pay for one copy. Click Set current price to fill in today's price.
- It is a number without a currency and is shown in the currency of the active marketplace. Switching from TCGplayer to Cardmarket displays $3 as 3€, without conversion.
- The current price is green below your desired price, orange above it, and neutral when they are equal. Cards without a desired price or without a current price have no comparison.
- You can filter a wishlist by desired price, and sort it by desired price or by the difference between the current and desired price.
Card prices and the wishlist total follow the marketplace selected in the top navigation. Change it there to see every price in another marketplace.
- Total and change: The value card shows the total for the active marketplace and how it changed in the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
- Top movers: The card that went up the most and the card that went down the most in the selected period.
- Marketplaces: The total on every supported paper marketplace. The active marketplace is listed first. If a marketplace has no price for some cards, the number of unpriced cards is shown next to it.
- Wishlists page: Each wishlist shows its value for the active marketplace.
Values are updated after you change a wishlist and after the daily price updates. Wishlists have no value chart. See Market prices for how prices are collected.
- Optimize: Finds cheaper printings of your wishlist cards. You can review every change before applying it.
- Buy Cards: Select a marketplace and buy the cards on your wishlist.
- Bulk edit: Select cards to edit, move, or delete them together.
- View history: Review adds, edits, deletes, imports, and merges, and restore deleted cards. History works the same way as binder history.
- Actions menu: Export cards to CSV, share the wishlist or copy its link, copy cards to a binder or another wishlist, deduplicate cards, and edit, merge, or delete the wishlist.
- Card menu: Each card can be moved or duplicated to a binder or another wishlist, added to a deck, bought, or used for a price alert.
Deleted wishlists
A deleted wishlist is kept for 30 days. Click Deleted on the Wishlists page to restore it or delete it permanently. After 30 days it is removed automatically. Merging a wishlist copies its cards into another wishlist and deletes the source, so you can restore it the same way.
Decks show which missing cards are already on your wishlists. A purple quantity indicator means your wishlists cover the missing copies. Wishlist copies never count as owned. Read more in Collection status.
When you buy a decklist, you can choose Exclude cards already on my wishlists to skip cards you plan to buy from your wishlists.
