Collection binders
Welcome to the MythicHub Collection Binders! The Collection Binders are a powerful feature in MythicHub, designed to help you organize and manage your collection of Magic: The Gathering cards. It allows you to group cards into binders and manage your collection efficiently. This page will guide you on how to use the Collection Binders effectively and understand its various functions.
Creating a collection binder on MythicHub is an essential feature for managing and categorizing your Magic: The Gathering cards. To utilize this feature, you need to be logged into your MythicHub account. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
How to Create a Binder:
- Go to the Collection Page:
- Ensure you are logged into your MythicHub account.
- Navigate to the Collection page.
- Add a Binder:
- Click the "Add Binder" button to begin creating a new binder.
There are three types of binders available to categorize your cards:
- π Collection:
- Use this binder to store cards you own.
- The assigned price is the purchase price.
- You will see red/green indicators showing whether the price has increased or decreased since you bought the card.
- π Wishlist:
- Use this binder for cards you want to buy.
- The assigned price is the desired price.
- You will see red/green indicators showing if the market price is higher or lower than your desired price. Blue indicator is shown if the desired price is set without market price.
- π¦ Tradelist:
- Use this binder for cards you want to sell.
- The assigned price is the sell price.
- If the sell price is set, it shows on the binder page regardless of the marketplace. It defaults to the market price if not set.
When creating a binder, you can also set the following properties:
- Game Type - The game type determines the cards available to add to the binder:
- π΄ Paper: For physical cards.
- π₯οΈ MTGO: For Magic: The Gathering Online.
- π» Arena: For Magic: The Gathering Arena.
- Visibility:
- π Public: Everyone can see the binder, and it is listed on your user profile page.
- π Hidden: Not listed on your profile, but viewable if someone has the direct link.
- π Private: Only accessible by you.
- Marketplace - Choose from six supported marketplaces for price tracking:
TCGPlayer πΊπΈ
Cardmarket πͺπΊ
Cardkingdom πΊπΈ
Cardsphere πΊπΈ
Cardhoarder π₯οΈ
(Only available for MTGO type binders)
Arena π»
(Only available for Arena type binders)
The auto-assign prices feature streamlines the process of tracking your purchase prices for Collection binders.
How It Works:
- Enabling the Option: When creating or editing a Collection binder, you can enable the "Auto-assign prices" option in the binder settings.
- Adding New Cards: When this option is enabled and you add new cards to the binder, the current market price is automatically set as the assigned price (purchase price).
- Importing Collections: When importing a collection with this option enabled, all imported cards will have their current market values assigned as purchase prices.
- Manual Overrides: You can still manually adjust or remove these auto-assigned prices as needed.
This feature is especially useful if you typically purchase cards at market value or want to establish a baseline purchase price for tracking future value changes.
Note: This feature is only available for Collection binders and is not applicable to Wishlist or Tradelist binders, which use assigned prices differently.
The condition-based pricing feature adjusts card market values based on their physical condition, providing a more accurate valuation of your collection.
How It Works:
- Enabling the Option: This feature can be enabled when creating or editing a Collection binder by selecting the "Adjust prices based on condition" option.
- Condition Adjustments: When enabled, market prices are adjusted using the following percentages:
- Near Mint (NM): 100% of market price
- Lightly Played (LP): 90% of market price
- Moderately Played (MP): 75% of market price
- Heavily Played (HP): 50% of market price
- Damaged (DMG): 25% of market price
- Visual Indicators: When this feature is active, the condition adjustment is shown next to the market price in the card details.
This feature ensures that your collection's valuation reflects the actual condition of your cards, rather than assuming all cards are in Near Mint condition.
Note: This feature is primarily useful for physical card collections and is not applicable to digital formats like MTGO or Arena.
MythicHub provides privacy options that let you control who can see the value details of your binders.
Available Privacy Settings:
- Show Collection Value Publicly:
- When enabled: Other users can see the total value and value trend of your binder.
- When disabled: Only you can see the value statistics and trend chart.
- Applies to: Public and Hidden binders (Private binders are never visible to others).
- Show Purchase Prices Publicly:
- For Collection binders: Controls whether others can see your purchase prices.
- For Wishlist binders: Controls whether others can see your desired prices.
- For Tradelist binders: Always enabled, as asking prices are fundamental to the tradelist concept.
Use Cases:
- Collection Showcase: Enable value visibility to showcase your collection's worth.
- Privacy Preference: Disable value visibility if you prefer to keep your collection's value private.
- Trading Transparency: For tradelists, showing asking prices helps facilitate trades by clearly communicating your expectations.
These privacy options give you fine-grained control over how your collection data is shared with the MythicHub community.

MythicHub provides a safety feature that allows you to recover accidentally deleted binders within a 30-day window.
How It Works:

- Deleted Binders Counter: On your collection page, you'll see a "Deleted" button with a counter indicating how many binders were deleted in the last 30 days.
- Accessing Deleted Binders: Click on the "Deleted" button to open a modal showing all your recently deleted binders.
- Restoration Options: For each deleted binder, you can:
- Restore the binder to your active collection
- Permanently delete the binder (this action cannot be undone)
- Automatic Cleanup: If no action is taken, deleted binders are automatically and permanently removed after 30 days.
This feature provides peace of mind, especially if you accidentally delete an important binder or change your mind after deletion.
