Collection Status
Collection Status compares the cards required by a deck with your paper Collection binders. You can see it on the quantity indicator beside each deck card and in the Collection status tab of the card dialog.

Reading the quantity indicator
- Green: Your Collection contains an exact match for the selected printing, finish, and language.
- Blue: Your Collection contains another match for the same card name with a different printing, finish, or language.
- Purple: A missing Collection copy has a matching entry in a Wishlist binder.
- Orange: A remaining missing Collection copy has a matching entry in a Tradelist binder.
- Gray: Your Collection does not contain every copy required by this deck row.
A complete indicator uses one color or an equal diagonal split. If Collection copies are missing, gray always occupies at least half of the indicator and the other half uses the highest-priority available color. The tooltip provides the complete counts when a lower-priority state is not visible in the indicator.
Reading the Collection tooltip
Hover or focus the quantity indicator to see the number of exact matches, other matches, and missing copies allocated to that deck row. Matching Wishlist and Tradelist totals provide additional context and can include extra copies. Exact Collection entries have a green dot in the binder list.
How copies are counted
- This deck: The card dialog shows how many copies the current deck needs for the selected card entry.
- All decklists: It also shows the total committed need for the same card name across this deck and your other decks.
- Owned across printings: Collection copies with the same card name count even when their printing, finish, or language differs from the selected deck card.
- Shared copies: When a deck contains multiple committed rows for the same card name, each physical copy is allocated to only one row.
- Spare or need more: The dialog shows spare copies when ownership covers the all-decklists need, or how many more copies are required when it does not.
- Uncommitted entries: Proxies, tokens, and maybeboard cards do not count toward committed deck need.
Collection Status always uses paper Collection binders, even for Arena or MTGO decklists. Arena and MTGO binders remain available on collection pages but are not included in deck coverage.
