Market Trends
Market Trends helps you quickly see which cards are moving up or down in price, so you can make better buy, sell, and trade decisions.
Pick a marketplace, time period, preset, finish, and sorting mode, then review top increases and decreases side by side. This gives you a focused snapshot of the part of the market you care about.
Basic lands are excluded from all preset results.

Period
- Choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
- The selected period controls which price-change snapshot is used.
Marketplace
- Supported paper marketplaces: TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Card Kingdom, Mana Pool, and Cardsphere.
- Supported MTGO marketplace: Cardhoarder.
Finish
- Choose All, Nonfoil, Foil, or Etched.
- Available finish options depend on the selected marketplace.
Presets define the search criteria before ranking price movers.
- Standard / Modern / Pioneer / Premodern: Uses format-legal sets and format legality matching.
- Eternal: Cards legal in Commander, Legacy, or Vintage.
- EDH Staples: Top Commander cards by EDHREC rank, with non-land focus.
- Reserved List: Reserved list cards only.
- Secret Lair: Secret Lair cards.
- Premium Foils: Foil or etched cards with premium treatments and a current price of at least $30.
- Important: Outside Premium Foils (and Secret Lair), cards with premium foil promo treatments are filtered out to reduce preset noise, regardless of price.
Sorting controls how cards are ranked in both increases and decreases.
- Value change: Sorts by raw currency move (for example, USD or EUR).
- Percent change: Sorts by percentage move.
- Increase lists include positive changes only. Decrease lists include negative changes only.
