Destroy target nonartifact attacking creature. It can't be regenerated. Create a black Spirit creature token. Its power is equal to that creature's power and its toughness is equal to that creature's toughness. Sacrifice the token at the beginning of the next end step.

Masters Edition II

Destroy target nonartifact attacking creature. It can't be regenerated. Put a black Spirit creature token into play with that creature's power and toughness. Sacrifice the token at end of turn.

Fifth Edition

Bury target nonartifact attacking creature and put a Shadow token into play. Treat this token as a black creature with the same power and toughness as that attacking creature. At end of turn, bury the token.

Homelands

Bury target non-artifact attacking creature and put a Shadow token into play.
Treat this token as a black creature with power and toughness equal to the power and toughness of that attacking creature. Bury Shadow token at end of turn.

The token creature enters under your control regardless of who controlled the targeted creature.

The Spirit token has the power and toughness of the attacking creature as it last existed on the battlefield.
