A few smaller updates from the last month
Most of my blog posts focus on describing new features or bigger improvements to existing ones. But I also ship a lot of smaller things that usually are not worth a separate post. Recently I shipped enough of those that it made sense to group them together here.
So this post is a simple summary of those small changes released in the last month.
Better deck recommendations

I updated the recommendation tool and switched it to use Recommander.cards.
Because of that, the recommendations now take your current deck into account, so the results are more tailored to what you are actually building and should generally be better than before.
The recommendation cards can now also show prices. I also improved the add card flow, so it is easier to go from a suggestion to actually putting that card into your deck.
There is also better handling of printing preferences depending on the selected marketplace. That makes the results feel more consistent and more practical when you are actually building a deck instead of only browsing ideas.
If you want to understand how the recommendation system works, check this video by the creator of Recommander.cards. He explains the idea behind it very well.
Importing into existing binders

Until now, importing a collection was mostly about creating a new binder. That worked well when you were moving everything into MythicHub for the first time, but it was not ideal if you already had your binders set up and just wanted to add more cards.
You can now import into an existing binder.
I also improved how imported cards show up in binder history. If you want to review an import later, it is easier to see what was added and clean things up if needed. This became more important once imports could go into existing binders. If you import hundreds or even thousands of cards into the wrong binder by mistake, a short summary in the history log is not enough. So now the binder history log includes the full list of imported cards and a button to delete them.
New import sources and better import detection
I added support for importing collections from Helvault. That includes both CSV exports and Helvault backup files. If your collection is there already, moving it into MythicHub is much more direct now.
If you need it, there is also a help page for importing from Helvault.
I also improved decklist import detection. MythicHub does a better job of recognizing what kind of decklist you pasted and gives clearer feedback when parsing fails. That makes the import flow less confusing, especially when the list came from a site with its own format.
TappedOut decklists are supported now too, so that is one more source you can bring in directly.
Small decklist improvements
One small change I added recently is search inside decklists. This came from user feedback. It feels obvious now, but for some reason I had never thought about it myself. If you open a bigger list and want to quickly find one card, you can now filter the deck by card name instead of scanning the whole thing by eye.
I also cleaned up token display in decklist view. Tokens are grouped more clearly now, which helps when a deck produces tokens from different parts of the list and you want to understand where they come from. This also came from feedback from one of the Patrons.
Another small follow-up is folder path labels in deck usage. If you organize your decks into nested folders, the deck usage panel now gives you better context about where a deck lives instead of only showing the deck name.
None of these changes are huge on their own. Together they make long decklists easier to work with.
Thanks
These are all smaller updates, but they fix a lot of everyday rough edges.
MythicHub is a one person project. It is totally free and ad free, and I want to keep it that way.
