This is a creatureless deck that relies on stealing things from your opponent to come up with a win.

The Basics

For the first 6 or so turns, you'll mostly be countering stuff your opponents drop You can drop any of the Planeswalkers to deflect from yourself. At some point you'll be able to start playing steal spells, and there are a lot of them. Take what you want. Eventually, you'll have sufficient mana to drop Empress Galina, stick some Swiftfoot Boots on her, and steal all the things.

Mulligans

Mulligan aggressively for ramp:

  • Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Thought Vessel, Sapphire Medallion - get at least one
  • Caged Sun and Gauntlet of Power - get at least one
  • Sceptre of Eternal Glory, Worn Powerstone , Thran Dynamo - second tier, but ok
  • Expedition Map to get more land

Isochron Sceptre

There are a few good options:

  • Brainstorm for sifting quickly to the things you want
  • Counterspell good Mana Drain better
  • Rapid Hybridization for destroying things
  • High Tide for extra mana
  • Dramatic Reversal goes infinite with some rocks

Identify Win Conditions and Take Them

The deck really needs you to have a good idea of what is happening on the board and keep a lookout for pieces that combo well from other decks to eke out a win, so piloting is the hard part. Everything you do is reactionary, so it is difficult to come up with a plan of attack, but there is a very large amount of disruption.

It would probably be a good idea to come up with an effective strategy for Thoracle wins out of nowhere.
